The National Testing Agency will now assign examination cities based on Aadhaar card addresses. A new Aadhaar-based e-KYC verification system starts with JEE (Main) 2026. This aims for transparency and efficiency. Candidates’ Aadhaar details will be verified using live photos. Assistive tools for disabled candidates are also being introduced, including enhanced magnifier and dark mode features for the CBT interface.
