APPSC planning for a major change: Prelims could be held only if applications cross 200 times the vacancies

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has proposed a significant change to its recruitment process. Preliminary exams will now only be conducted if applications exceed 200 times the notified posts. This aims to reduce expenditure and time wastage, potentially leading to single-stage recruitments for many APPSC positions if the state government approves the proposal.
