Indian Railways is actively recruiting. Railway Recruitment Boards have conducted tests for over 1.86 crore candidates. They aim to fill 55,197 vacancies. Over 9,000 appointments are already done. The board is allotting exam centers closer to home. Aadhaar-based E-KYC authentication is introduced. West Central Railway will use mAadhaar for passenger verification. This prevents unauthorized travel and ticket misuse.
