Women’s involvement in apprenticeships has significantly increased, narrowing gender divides and boosting skills access. The number of women apprentices grew substantially from 2021-22 to 2023-24. Structured training is bringing women into various sectors. However, many organizations still have few or no women apprentices. This highlights a need for continued focus on inclusion and targeted interventions to unlock India’s workforce potential.
